ACT I / PRIVACY
Your information in Act I.
Act I is operated by Xu Ji at H10. Contact acti@h10.space with privacy questions or deletion requests.
Your account
We use Sign in with Apple to authenticate you. We store an account identifier, the email address Apple supplies, your chosen handle, and any photo or bio you add. Other people can see your public profile.
Location and your posts
We use your location to find nearby posts. Events and chats are tied to a place. Public stories use an approximate location unless you select precise sharing. A followers-only story is visible to your followers and stays off the public map. Content you share can be seen and saved by people who have access to it.
Conversations and activity
We store posts, replies, registrations, reviews, relationships, messages, likes, read status, and feedback to provide their respective features. Messages are accessible to participants. Chats, ordinary stories, and direct messages expire from their usual views after 24 hours. Expiry affects visibility. Highlights, archives, backups, and operational records can have different retention periods.
Optional features
If enabled, push notifications use a device token and preferences. Calendar access checks scheduling conflicts and syncs events you join on your device. Your personal calendar entries stay on your device. The welcome screen’s tilt effect also runs on your device.
Service providers
Our backend hosts account records and media. With your permission, Act I sends submitted post text, photos, video frames and audio to OpenAI for safety checks before publishing. This includes followers-only stories, events, chats, replies and meeting-point text. Direct messages, reports and map coordinates are excluded from these checks. Apple provides sign-in and push delivery. Mapbox supplies the map and may process location, identifiers, usage, performance, and diagnostic information through its SDK. See Mapbox’s privacy policy.
Your choices
Change calendar, notification, or location permissions in your device settings. Block other people from their profiles. Request deletion in Act I under Profile → Settings → Delete account. We remove the account and its associated live app data. Backups age out separately. Copies others saved and entries already exported to a calendar may remain.
